As he had announced a few days ago, Xiaomi held this Tuesday morning, an event at which he has lifted the veil on its Mi Note 2. Armed with a solid technical data sheet, the device does not hide that very wrong his objective : to seduce the fans of phablets running top of the range remained orphans of their Galaxy Note 7.
As the explosive terminal of Samsung, the Mi Note 2 sports a curved screen of 5.7 inches (≈14.5 cm). Xiaomi wishes to emphasize : the slab is of Oled technology. Its resolution is 1 920 x 1 080 px (Full HD), which leads to a resolution, sum all correct of about 386 ppi. In the bowels of the beast, we find a SoC Qualcomm, namely the powerful Snapdragon 821. With four cores Kryo (up to 2.35 GHz) and a GPU Adreno 530, it has the mission to animate Android (version not specified) and the overlayer house MIUI 8. He is helped to this end by 4 or 6 Gb of ram (depending on the versions), while the internal memory reaches 64 or 128 Gb without any microSD port on the horizon.
on The back of its Mi Note 2, Xiaomi has not been mean-spirited, since the manufacturer has chosen to place the latest IMX318 of Sony, which shoot in 22,56 Mpx (f/2). In front, the selfies are the responsibility of another Sony sensor (IMX268), which is satisfied for his share of 8 Mp (f/2). We note, in passing, the presence of a fingerprint reader in the home button. In terms of connectivity, the menu is very complete : it includes the 4G+ (up to 600 Mb/s in download, and 150 Mb/s in upload), the Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and a second port SIM. To feed all this small world, the dress in the aluminum of the phone houses a non-removable battery of 4 070 mAh battery which has the good idea to be compatible with Quick Charge 3.0.
With measurements of 156,2 x 77.3 x 7.6 mm to 166 g, the Mi Note 2 wants to be relatively compact. Xiaomi claims, moreover, the occupancy of 77.2 % of the front by the screen. We come, for our part, a result of 74.5 % — which is very far from being bad.
Marketed soon on the side of the empire of the Middle, the terminal will be immediately available in three versions. The first, equipped with 4 Gb of ram and 64 Gb of internal memory, will be offered at the rate of 2 799 yuan (about 379 €). The second, with 6 Gb of RAM and 128 Gb of internal memory, will be sold 3 299 yuan (about 447 euros). The third, finally, will the same hardware (6/128 Gb), but will be compatible with all frequencies (4G) commonly used by the world, for a quoted rate of 3 499 yuan, which is about 475 €.
