Standard & Poor’s raises the rating of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes – LyonCapitale.fr

After you have confirmed the rating of AA to the City of Lyon, the financial ratings agency Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings improves that of the Region Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes. This rating goes from AA – to AA, with a stable outlook.. “We believe that the Region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will be able to offset in full, the annual reduction of 51 million euros from its overall allocation of operation in 2016, and 2017 (i.e. an annual decline of approximately 2% of its operating revenue), thanks to its governance and its management strong financial, in particular, its management budget by a very narrow”, says S&P.

According to the agency, the implementation of a plan to save 300 million euros by the end of the term “is effective as shown by our achievements estimated budget for 2016 that include a decrease of 115 million of operating expenditure significantly higher than the $ 65 million anticipated in our previous scenario central“.

which did not fail to rejoice Laurent Wauquiez, president of the regional council, by way of a press release: “This rating crown a policy of rupture initiated from a year around three commitments during the campaign : a relentless struggle against waste, zero tax increases, stimulus investments. S&P note that the rate of gross savings in the region should improve, and its consolidated debt is expected to decrease, up to 105% in 2018 compared with 120% in 2015.
