While the filming of the movie Death Note continues in Vancouver, one learns today from Entertainment Weekly that Masi Oka (unforgettable Hiro from Heroes) will appear in this adaptation of american japanese manga series produced by Netflix.

The actor also said that he was one of the producers. The former master of time and space of Heroes has not announced which character he was going to incarnate in this feature film shooting real, but he should probably expect a minor role…
This adaptation of the u.s. manga Death Note is directed by the director Adam Wingard. The latter has promised to fans of the nudity, bad words and violence, in short, a film for adults. The side cast, Nat Wolff has been chosen to embody Light Turner, Willem Dafoe will lend his voice to Ruyk, a shinigami that accompanies the bearer of the Death Note, and Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers) will play Mia Sutton
Death Note tells the story of a high school student who stumbles upon a book of the supernatural, which contains great power ; if you enter the name of someone known to the face, that person dies.
