False note for the opening of the ticket office in the Crazy day – France Blue

It is a moment that the regulars impatiently waiting for : the opening of the ticket office of the Crazy day. Except that, for the first day, the website has struggled to absorb the flow of requests and the Cité des Congrès in Nantes : three-times less cash than usual.

The most crazy of the Crazy day were installed as early as Friday morning in front of the cité des congrès of Nantes. They, at least, have avoided a very long wait at the counters. Because for the others, it had to be very patient. The internet site has experienced some downtime due to many concurrent connections to the opening of the ticket office and there were three times fewer counters open than before at the cité des congrès of Nantes (8 compared to 24 in previous years).

One puts an infinite time, it is unbearable !

“This year is absolutely unacceptable !”, is irritated Monique, who made the opening of the ticket office for 20 years. “I thought they could put 100 people at a time”, continues Philippe, “but apparently, it is only 35 at the time, so one puts an infinite time. This is unbearable, this is badly organised”.

This is especially a new organization. the priority is given to reservations on the Internet. Except that, this Saturday morning, the servers do not have supported a large number of concurrent connections. René Martin, the founder of the Crazy day is disappointed, too. the “There are thousands and thousands of people who want to connect at the same time, you can never satisfy everyone. Therefore, there is a true reflection to lead on the ticket”. And this is not to reassure the regulars, like the Olive tree : “in a few years, there will be no more ticketing in the city of the congress, this will be only on the Internet and in the supermarket Leclerc. It is really unpleasant to get rid of the regulars like that”.

in The end, it didn’t stop the Crazy day to sell 100.000 tickets for the first day, two-thirds through the Internet.
