Brendan Gallagher has earned the respect of his teammates, when he avenged the blow to Andrew Shaw on Monday.

The diminutive forward, who rarely leaves impose, has been engaged in the fight with Torey Krug after the latter had knocked out the number 65 of a blow to the head, an incident that sent him to the infirmary for some time.
“When you see your teammate getting up as Shawzie has done, face bloodied, there has been a contact. I don’t want too much to comment on, but it would have done the same thing for anyone in this room,” said Gallagher.
head coach Michel Therrien has liked the response of his player to the place of Krug, and it gave him a good note in its bulletin for the match.
