Xiaomi presents the variant Snapdragon of the Redmi Note 4 – FrAndroid – Frandroid

Xiaomi has finally lifted the veil this morning on the new Redmi Note 4 which will be marketed in the indian market. It incorporates a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of the solution of MediaTek of the original model.

Xiaomi held this morning a press conference in India to present the variant of the Redmi Note 4 which will be marketed in the country. As for the previous generation, this alternative gives up the processor MediaTek in the chinese version for a Qualcomm processor.

It is not, however, the Redmi Note 4X which is the subject of rumors for several weeks, and which is expected to integrate a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 presented this morning integrates a Snapdragon 625 significantly less powerful.

For the rest, the smartphone is very close to the Redmi Note 4 that we tested last year. We found the screen 2.5 D Full HD, the design is rather successful and all metal and the battery of 4,100 mAh, which should ensure him a very good battery life.

– Side storage and ram, you will have the choice between three versions, 32 Gb with 2 Gb of RAM, 32 Gb with 3 Gb of RAM and 64 Gb with 4 Gb of RAM. The phone will be sold with MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but a preview version of Android 7.0 Nougat is already available.

Incompatible in part with the 4G French

For the indian market, Xiaomi adds to the Redmi Note 4, the compatibility with the 4G LTE on the frequency bands 3, 5 and 40 are used by the operators in the country. Unfortunately it is not always a question of compatibility with the tape 20 used in France, in which a variant of the Redmi Note 3 had the right.

Pricing and availability

The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is expected to be available from the 23rd January to the store on Xiaomi and flipkart exclusively, but you should quickly find it in the shops import.

The Xiaomi Note 4 will be available from 9 999 indian rupees, or about € 140, and up to 12 999 indian rupees for the 64 Gb version of storage, that is, 180 euros approximately.
