Samsung’s flagships should soon benefit from a major upgrade. It could affect Android 6.0 Marshmallow but nothing so far no evidence to be sure.

Samsung would working on updating its flagship stores to Android 6.0 Marshmallow after the site SamMobile. The Korean manufacturer would prepare indeed a major update for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Edge Rating and S6 + 5. However, it is currently impossible to say that it concerns the future version of the mobile OS from Google.

We know for example that with this update, the firmware version of the Galaxy S6 Edge change from G925FXXU2COH2 G925FXXU3COI6 . The rocker of “ U2 ‘to’ U3 ” appears to indicate that the changes should be deep, but it does not allow us to define their nature.

Towards a new version of Android 5.1.1 more stable?

This update, considered major, could bring these terminals to Marshmallow since this is the next big event in the Android universe. But it could also just as easily lead to a new version of Android 5.1.1, intended to bring more stability to the interface.

The new version of Android has not yet been revealed it is still quite difficult to make predictions on his third deployment to smartphones. HTC had planned to release its new One A9 in the new version of the OS next month. It is possible that Samsung has also taken the lead to enable users of its flagship stores to be among the first to benefit.

Google held next September 29 a press conference where he will present his new Nexus, but full details of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Hopefully this event is an opportunity to learn a little more about its deployment.
