September 24 (Reuters) - Standard & amp; Poor's announcement on Thursday placed under review with negative implications the long-term rating of "A" Volkswagen VOWG_p.DE, citing the burden of € 6.5 billion that the group will include in its accounts for the third quarter in connection with the alleged manipulation case of pollutant emissions testing in the United States. In a statement, the agency said anticipating "substantial" penalties for the German automaker and precise that it could reduce its rating of "a notch or more" depending on the extent of reminders or cars that it must perform.
