Beaten for an outstanding bar note – ladepeche.fr

Manage daily highly alcoholic revelers can sometimes be a task perilous. Four staff members of the bar from central Toulouse, a security guard, a bartender and two managing partners, were tried by the criminal court of Toulouse Friday for assaulting a deadbeat client. The incident occurred September 20, 2013 at around 2:00 in the morning.

A highly alcoholic client attempted to leave the bar without adjusting its consumption. He was then prevented from leaving the establishment by the vigil. Dragged behind the bar, he was then beaten. For who among the accused? Hard to say but no matter for the Attorney Brown. “It does not matter to the meeting by violence qualification.” The defendants do not understand. “I’m amazed,” says one of the managing partners. “I’ve never been violent in my life,” said the guard. All deny their responsibility, nobody saw anything. “Except a few witnesses,” says the president Douchez-Boucard. Witnesses found through banking card statements the bar that night. “It’s a beating,” says the prosecutor, which requires six months’ suspended imprisonment for each. “I do not have the same certainty that the prosecution” argues François Collomb, lawyer guard and bartender, who regrets that, in this case, only the incriminating evidence will be contained. “Where are the statements of other clients who say they have seen nothing?” Is he asks. Punch Me Juliane, lawyer for the two managing partners, said that one of them was absent that night. For the latter, she stressed: “It could not be physically present due to the configuration of places.” The court finally acquitted one of the two managing partners and sentenced three others sentenced to five months imprisonment, suspended.
