Movies and Manga Info: Chihayafuru, Death Note, Senpai to Kanojo … – Manga Sanctuary

Chihayafuru

 

Chihaya has a purpose in life: to become world champion karuta, a traditional Japanese card game. The karuta, she fell into it when she was little with his two best friends (and secret admirers) Arata and Taichi. Arrive at school, she trusts all her suitors and is dedicated to recruiting comrades for his karuta club. Here is the first video and a picture of the distribution of Chihayafuru , the film adaptation of the manga Yuki Suetsugu (in France by Pika). Both films are scheduled for March and April 2016 in Japan. The diptych is made by Norihiro Koizumi and Suzu Hirose ( Crows Explode ) plays the role of Chihaya.


 
 

 
 

 
 

DEATH NOTE

 

 
 

A new film Death Note , presented as a “prohibited more” in the 2006 film, was made official in 2016.

 

Death Note 2016 will be directed by Shinsuke Sato ( Gantz , Library Wars ).

 
 

SENPAI TO kanojo

 

 

manga Senpai to kanojo Atsuko Nanba (unpublished in France) was adapted into feature film by the director Chihiro Ikeda. The story centers on a love triangle, Rika between Tsuzuki, a first-year high school student, loving Minohara Keigo, a student of third year, which itself crush on Aoi Okita, formerly in the same establishment and student today.

chimamire Sukeban CHAINSAW

 

 
 

In the unpublished manga in France chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw Rei Mikamoto ( Reiko the Zombie Shop ), the young Giko decimating zombies with a chainsaw. A live film is scheduled for 2016 with Rio Uchida in the role of Giko. Find the first promotional image below:
