No Edge version for the Galaxy Note 5? – CNET France

No Edge version for the Galaxy Note 5? >

After a first test on the Galaxy Note Edge then success with the Galaxy Edge S6, it seems logical that Samsung does not abandon its curved screen models. Yet if we are to believe the latest rumors from China and from “ Industry sources “, Samsung would not propose a version of “Edge” for his next model phablet which likely will be renamed Galaxy Note 5.

The rumor says at no time the reasons have pushed the Korean to make that choice. Suffice it to say that it is likely that this is for cost-effectiveness issues. Strange considering Edge S6 of success. Better take large tweezers until Samsung makes official announcements, it will be time to share his sadness.

The rumor states that the future of Samsung phone will offer a screen 5, 9 inches of qHD resolution (2560 x 1440). It would also be powered by a processor made in Samsung’s Exynos 7422. It finally embark a good battery 4100 mAh. We will have the end of the story in September at the IFA in Berlin if Samsung follows its usual schedule. It is rumored that the announcement could take place earlier than usual.
