PARIS (Dow Jones) – Moody’s announced Thursday have raised the long-term rating of the Carrefour distribution group “(P) Baa2″ to “(P) Baa1″. The outlook is stable.
“Our decision to raise the rating of Carrefour reflects the decrease in adjusted debt of the distribution group, due to changes in Moody’s approach on how to address the operational leases , “said the rating agency in a statement.
Moody’s adds that this new rating also takes into account the improved financial profile of the company, thanks to the improvement in operating performance in France.
