The Yoga Book has the particularity to offer a collapsible design into two parts. But be careful. Here, the point of dual screen as with the famous ” Sony Tablet Xperia P, if some remember them still.
The lower part is used as a keyboard (not physical, will be packed with backlit keys), but not only ! In fact, the concept of the Yoga Book would be nothing without the pen a bit versatile. The keyboard light can be turned off, transforming the surface into a graphics tablet comparable tablets Wacom that you can find on a computer, for example. All handles brilliantly many levels of pressure, which allows to obtain a fine line, bold, or intermediate. But Lenovo did not stop in so good way. The device is provided with a pad of note paper (additional blocks sold the “modest” sum of 9.99 euros, please) which can be placed on the surface.
You must then change the mine of the pen to turn it into a real pen. Scribble on the paper, you will instantly have a digital copy of your work displayed on the top screen ! Detail which has its importance : in the paper mode, the management of the pressure levels of the pen is stored !
seeing the device, one can also question the possibility to use the stylus to write directly on the screen, and not only deported, with or without a block-note. This possibility has actually been chosen by Lenovo, but be careful, in this mode, the pen pressure is not supported. The Yoga Book is already available at a price of 499 euros in the Android version, or 599 version of Windows 10.
