Were tested: the Sonos Play: 1 Blue note – Echoes

What is it? Sonos is one of the speakers leading wireless solutions “multiroom”. The “Play 1″ speaker end brand entry, is now available in a limited series, co-produced with legendary jazz label “Blue Note Records” to celebrate its 75th anniversary. It is identical to previous versions, unlike its color – a nice blue gradient – and musical programs offered exclusively for lovers of Jazz, but not only.

The Experience: The installation is very simple. Relatively heavy, solid appearance and particularly well finished – – the speaker is plugged you download the application and within seconds, the listening platform is accessible. Navigation is intuitive and no need to refer to the instructions for use to control the sources. Multiple devices can control the speaker simultaneously. The sound is very well made with warm bass and a very adequate power for a room or a living room. A nice surprise in addition to the acoustic jewel box.

The recommendation: The big advantage of this place is the ability to easily add all your favorite radio stations (including Deezer accounts Spotify etc.), but also to discover new artists through the selections made home according to your tastes and your moods with a playlist concocted by the artists and the owner of “Blue Records”: What regain real nuggets of Jazz, with a free subscription for a year. The must: invest in two speakers directly to enjoy a true stereo sound – each is then defined as left or right speaker – with the possibility also to install in every room for variety.

How to invest? This enclosure was made in 4100 copies only at very reasonable price of 250 euros. Note that shipping is free and you will get 100 days to try test free! www.sonos.fr
