lg

The South Korean manufacturer has plans to release a G4 rating with a metal shell by the end of the year. G4 remain meanwhile plastic.

Very well received by critics, the latest Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 rained during their formalization at the last Mobile World Congress. Their new look “Premium” seems to have filled the fans waiting for years that the Korean manufacturer abandons the plastic in favor of the metal. And it seems that the approach has inspired his compatriot LG.

A G4 accompanied metal stylus Note

The latest rumors about smartphones LG show two different flagships, which should be an LG G4 and another terminal supposed to be bigger and more powerful than the latter. It could be called LG G4 Note. This should also be accompanied by a stylus and would rank as the direct competitor of Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Today, new rumors from us ZDNet Korea about these smartphones. According to the specialized website, it seems that LG wants to walk more in the footsteps of its direct competitor using the metal to form the hull of a terminal. Internal sources tend to think that this strategy should help the firm to fight against the other giants like Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi. But what seems surprising in this choice is that if the adoption of the metal would note for the G4, G4 meanwhile retain its plastic coating.

G4 remain Plastic lack of time

The problem comes from the fact that the production of metal hulls in large quantities would require the firm to acquire new equipment. And it would be impossible for LG to fulfill its objectives: the design of such shells for the G4 and G4 Rating indeed take him too much time. To be able to launch the LG G4 between April and May, the Korean company had to abandon the idea, and offer to his Phablet.

The LG G4 Note should be released before the end of the year . We still have no information about its configuration, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more about this future terminal.
