Currently deployed on Nexus, Android 5.1 would not happen before the second half of the Galaxy. Among the affected terminals, Note 4 would be one that would have the most to gain. The update could also include the latest version of TouchWiz.
Google introduced Android 5.1 Workplace months. The update has since won several units of the Nexus range, but as always, it will take a little longer before seeing it happen on other brands terminals. This includes those from Samsung, for now stranded in Section 5.0 for more advanced. Following is still well in the study. According to YouMobile , version 5.1 could even happen with a little surprise for the Galaxy Note 4.
A new version of TouchWiz complement
For if Android 5.1 finally brings not much new, Samsung would think to accompany the final version of its TouchWiz overlay, namely the Galaxy S6, for its latest high-end Phablet. Nevertheless, understand that the development has not yet started. So there is nothing sure for now. Also note that the Galaxy Note 4 should not be the first to receive the update.
Not surprisingly, the honor should go back to the newest Galaxy S6 and his Edge variant but even there, there would be a little wait. The deployment is not expected before the second half. Samsung probably preferred to first finish with the Android 5.0. Let’s hope at least that it will be completed by then, as some are beginning to find the time long.
