It is now a year since the Meizu brand is present in France. The Meizu range is no longer alone in representing the brand: a few weeks after its announcement in China, M1 rating is about to land in France. It will take place in the new online store of Chinese brand.
Lightweight shift for Meizu who since his arrival in France in March 2014, offered its products at online retailers such as RueDuCommerce, including its MX3 and MX4 and MX4 Pro. In its Chinese presentation, M1 Note has managed to make a few arguments in size. But surprise, we read about online shop Meizu: “ Note M1 is not compatible with the 4G network in France” , even though the device is proposed at 229 euros 16GB version and its 32 GB version, scheduled later, will cost 269 euros.
We spoke with Frederick Gian, the CEO of Meizu France, which we delivered some additional details about the M1 rating. Due to problems in terms of R & amp; D, there will be no full support 4G network in France by Meizu terminals before the second half of 2015. However, the M1 rating is not totally excluded from the happy world LTE: it is compatible with the 1800 MHz band, which satisfied at least the Bouygues Telecom subscribers. But as it is a hardware and not software limitation, any update will increase the compatibility of the phone with the other frequency bands. We regret even more that M1 Note does not offer compatibility with the French frequencies it is a promising device. The white version we had on hand is a good finish, solid appearance, but for light remaining weight.
