At the announcement of its Galaxy Note 4, Samsung surprised by unveiling a second version of its device with a curved screen on the right edge of the unit. Beyond the technological and aesthetic, the manufacturer indicated that many features result from this new section of the screen. Getting Started with the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

This is the menu that was for me the least interest. This feature is only displaying a text on the edge of the screen, where other information is displayed here.
The customization options are limited by the input text, and it is impossible to choose the font or the display size, the text is very difficult to read. One can also wonder what is to constantly display a word or phrase on the side of the screen, if not may be to use it as a notepad for something not forget. If this is the case, we would have liked the option to display it more prominently.

If Samsung shows a good example by having reviewed the interface of some applications to deport the control menu on the curved part, as in the camera by example, to make up the display on the main screen, this is not the case for the majority of developers. So there is a strong potential to that level, which is currently not operated, particularly due to the fact that the Galaxy Note Edge remained a low volume of sales unit. It remains to be seen whether the Galaxy S6 edge meet a great success and help the democratization of future potential edge Note 5.
Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy Note is a superb Edge device. Including key features of the Galaxy Note 4 that we had enjoyed while adding a very successful new visually.
After a few days of use, taste is taken to find its key shortcuts or have background information on the additional screen, and return to a more conventional device asks to readjust. Moreover, we can not hide that the curved and animated display screen remains a “cool” aspect of the product.
