Paris still misses the point - Debrief and NOTES players (Monaco 0-0 PSG)

Parisians and Monaco are neutralized to

With the defeat of Marseille and Lyon, Paris Saint-Germain was a nice shot to play Sunday evening on the lawn of Monaco. In case of victory, Paris SG could seize the leader’s chair. But the shock of the 27th day eventually led to a small draw (0-0) and the capital club still struggled with his nemesis, the last victory against Monaco dating back to September 16, 2007.

Monaco still at the Emirates

In the wake of his performance on the lawn Arsenal Monaco realized a very interesting start to the match by depriving Paris SG ball for nearly ten minutes. Positioned low and unable to bring out the ball cleanly, Parisians offered an amazing face of outdated training in the tackle and dominated the midfield, but ultimately little worried in terms of opportunities. We had to wait for the first fifteen minutes to see the Parisians regain possession of usual ball.

Cavani and Lavezzi vendangent

While in Instead, the ASM then merely contain the Parisian assaults. And PSG procured several occasions but Cavani and Lavezzi failed to achieve them. The Uruguayan stumbled over Subasic on its first strike and Argentina vendangeait two beautiful opportunities loupant part on both strikes. Faced with a rigorous Monaco block, Paris had missed his chance to take the lead before the return to the locker room.

Paris does not materialize its dominance

In the second half the pace of the meeting rose a notch and PSG accentuated his dominance. Yet the champions of France does not actually arrived to worry Subasic, except in a good scoring Pastore leaking part. After the hour, Monaco began to take more and more confidence and is often found on the edge of the box, but failed to create dangerous opportunities. Finally, Paris was a little worried and remained dominant, but was not the fault and the score did not move until the final whistle.

Poor operation for both teams

One point that does not really suits both teams as Paris is in 2nd place in the standings at one point of Lyon and only takes a stock of Marseille. Parisians therefore miss a new opportunity to take the lead. For Monaco physically blunted after his Champions League match, the podium is still six points

The note of the match. 5.5 / 10

To the shock of the 27th day of Ligue 1, one could expect a better show. The defenses have taken over the attacks and PSG failed to fulfill its dominance because of a lack of realism in front of the goal Subasic.

The NOTES players

Maxifoot awarded a rating (out of 10) commented to each player

The man of the match. Thiago Silva (7 / 10)

A game in the tradition of his previous outings. The Parisian captain was monstrous in the tackle and he took advantage of his good reading of the game to anticipate the Monegasque transmissions. He is the player who has collected the most balls (24) in the meeting and has not made the slightest mistake in 2015!

MONACO

Danijel Subasic (6.5) alert to repel a shot from Cavani in the first period and win against Pasotre second, Monegasque keeper achieved good interventions throughout the meeting

almamy Touré (4) . very good against Arsenal, the young right-back has had more difficulty facing PSG. He often left the Parisians from his back. Replaced in the 60th by Nabil Dirar (not rated)

Wallace (6.5) . Brazilian central defender was immaculate with great coverage to stop offensive Parisian

Jeremy Toulalan (7) . repositioned in central defense because of the many absences, the usual midfielder had a very good game. Always well placed, he took advantage of his good reading of the game to make interventions with great accuracy

Layvin Kurzawa (5.5) . Solid defensively in the left lane, it has rarely been questioned on one side little used by PSG. Offensively, he as usual tried to bring the danger centers on

Fabinho (5) . Positioned for the second consecutive time in the middle field in the first period, the Brazilian delivered a serious match. He then found his right flank and was solid

Geoffrey Kondogbia (6) . Monegasque environment had a lot of work and he recovered from Many balloons. A very good game from him

Bernardo Silva (4,5) . The Portuguese midfielder has worked hard in the defensive work. However, it has not often been able to make a difference before

Joao Moutinho (5) . A big riot of energy from the former FC Porto. He constantly harassed opposing circles to prevent PSG to develop his game. A little more difficult in the second half.

Yannick Ferreira Carrasco (4) : hard pressed in the first period, the Belgian was a little more after the break for realizing some fine footwork. It has however failed to worry Subasic. Replaced in the 85th by Matheus (not rated)

Anthony Martial (3) . Author of a good start match, then the young Monaco striker never managed to get the better of the pair Thiago Silva-Marquinhos. Replaced in the 66th by Dimitar Berbatov (not rated)

PARIS SG .

Salvatore Sirigu (5) . quiet evening for the Parisian guard who had nothing to do

Gregory Van der Wiel (3) : not always serene defensively, the Dutchman has often been forgotten by its partners on the right side in the offensive phases. And lack of clarity can understand why when you look in transmissions …

Marquinhos (6.5) : another perfect match from Parisian defender, never troubled by the Monegasque attackers. Very good

Thiago Silva (7) . Read the comment above

. Maxwell (6) : bit worried defensively, the left side did not hesitate to take his lane to combine with Pastore and make some classy gestures

. Marco Verratti (6) : the Italian community has had a little trouble finding his place early in the game, but then again showed the extent of his talent in the ball retention and transmissions .

David Luiz (6.5) : positioned sentinel before the defense, he had a tendency to play too low in the first period. Above after the break and more aggressive on the ball carrier, he made a full match. White can trust him in this position

Blaise Matuidi (5.5) . Available, it is projected forward first period and could have been decisive passer for Lavezzi. Less present before after the break. Replaced in the 75th by Adrien Rabiot (not rated)

Ezequiel Lavezzi (4) . Argentina has often found in the center forward position in the first period and calls on the back of the Monaco defense allowed the PSG to get great opportunities. But he still showed gaps in finishing including misses a huge play on a deflection Matuidi. Much less for the second half. Replaced in the 75th by Jean-Christophe Bahebeck (not rated)

Edinson Cavani (4,5) . Always available, the Uruguayan sauntered to the front of the Paris attack and has repeatedly called in the first period, during which he has two opportunities. Just like Lavezzi, no one has seen much more after the break …

Javier Pastore (6.5) : the leader Argentine game has achieved a good performance. In all the good things the PSG, he distilled the caviar and its partners could have put the home team in the second half on a good scoring that did not find the frame.
