Fitch maintains a “B” rating on Greece’s stable outlook – Les Echos

LONDON, Nov. 21 (Reuters) – Ratings agency Fitch confirmed Friday the sovereign rating of Greece, which remains at “B” speculative grade, while evoking “the outstanding tax adjustements” made by Athens recent years.

The agency provides a primary budget surplus of 1.5% of gross domestic product (GDP) this year, while not ruling out the hypothesis that the country do a little better than that.

Fitch had upgraded the rating of Greece from B- to B in May. Moody’s followed in August, from “Caa3″ to “Caa1″ and S & amp; P, which is also increased from B to B in September. The three agencies have a stable outlook on their credit rating. (Juliette Rouillon for the French service)
