Be noticed at school? “Discouraging” consider parents – Europe.1

The grades in school? 73% of parents would prefer them to be less important in assessing the curriculum according to a survey released Tuesday by OpinionWay association of parents of private Apel. An even more pronounced among parents whose children are enrolled in PTA (87%) preference.


The poor parents face a score penalty. More than half (56%) of parents feel unprepared for a bad grade, they are not always able to decipher, and say “do not know what aspects of the program should be to rework after bad note. ” This proportion rises to 74% of parents in college, 73% of children enrolled in PTA parents and 63% of students enrolled in private families.

About 90% of Parents also say “worried” face a failing grade (98% of student parents PTA).

The survey was carried out from ‘ a sample of 596 parents of school children, from a sample of 2,025 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over. The sample was interviewed online and on the ground in late October.
