Disassembly iFixit: Nexus 6 achieves a score of 7/10 – CNET France

iFixit Dismantling: Nexus 6 achieves a score of 7/10

As with every mobile emblematic exit, it is the turn of the Nexus 6 to pass between the clamps and precision screwdrivers laboratory iFixit. The phablet Google designed by Motorola honorably spent dismantling tests, to obtain a score of 7/10. However, the fact that some elements (SIM reader buzzer, speaker) are soldered directly to the motherboard and the touch part is nested with 5.96-inch screen narrowed the note.

On the other hand, the technicians at iFixit have considered it rather easy to replace certain elements of the phone (camera, buttons, jack, etc.) in case of failure or degradation of these. Overall, the Nexus 6 has a note roughly equivalent to the Nexus 4 and 5, which also went on the iFixit disassembly bench. (EP)
