Fitch confirmed the BBB + rating of Italy and Spain – Boursorama

April 24 (Reuters) – Fitch Ratings said Friday confirmed the rating of BBB + from Italy and Spain, the two countries are also being assigned a stable outlook. “The performance of Italy in terms of economic growth is weak,” says the rating agency. “However, recent indicators support the unchanged forecast Fitch, since the last review of the rating in October 2014, according to which Italy will manage to get out of a long and deep recession in 2015″. For Spain, Fitch notes that “the economy picks up significantly, what develop confidence in their successful adjustment in the euro area.” She added that the growth has accelerated again since the last review of the rating in October 2014. The stable outlook of both countries confirms that upside risks and downside risks are balanced, says Fitch. (Wilfrid Exbrayat for the French service, edited by)
