CAC 40: a firm notes behind the Nasdaq. – L’Express

The Paris Bourse is scheduled to open on a firm note Friday morning while the Nasdaq scored last night a new absolute record of closing.

According to initial information available, the CAC 40 is expected to start the session with a gain of about 20 points around 5,200 points.

The Paris market swings since the beginning of the week around 5175 points and, the Chartists, the Council could initiate a consolidation if depression of 5140 points probably towards the ‘gap’ of 5080 points.

The Greek case should once again take center stage today as the Eurogroup taking place today in Riga should discuss the country’s situation.

Brussels said that ‘the Greek authorities are working to develop a reform plan’, a statement which appears to be fueling optimism among operators.

Investors may, however, be cautious pending the publication on the morning of the Ifo business climate in Germany.

In the US, the only expected statistical today is the number of durable goods orders, scheduled at 14:30.
