A screen UHD / 4K for the Galaxy Note 5? – Frandroid

And if the future Galaxy Note 5 included a slab UHD / 4K? It is likely, if one believes the various clues scattered by Samsung lately, but with the recent emergence of a rumor on the net.

 Samsung 4K

In November 2013, Samsung announced its investors its plans to offer mobile screens WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) in 2014 and the UHD screens (3840 x 2160 pixels) in 2015. If the first information has been verified including the screen Galaxy Note 4 September 2014, UHD screens have not yet emerged, Samsung, whether on mobile or tablet (despite prototype in June). In January 2014, Samsung had drove home the point by stating that the UHD screens for smartphones and tablets were soon to emerge. According to rumors collected by the site PhoneArena, Samsung would have a Super AMOLED screen UHD smartphone in the pipes. It would be integrated in the future Galaxy Note 5.

plates production would begin in August with a formal announcement at IFA in Berlin in September next . The screen size is 5.78 “for the Galaxy Note 5 version edge with curved edges or 5.89″ for the standard version and flat screen. So what would a record resolution 762 for the first PPP and 748 PPI for the second. If virtual reality did not exist, we affirm without fear that 4K screens on a smartphone are useless. But since the explosion of solutions (or rather prototypes) virtual reality, such a definition to its importance. Indeed, qHD screens 5 inches are still victims of the gate effect that takes the form of visible and annoying pixels. With 4K screens, this phenomenon should no longer happen and then we could see land a VR Gear a little more interesting than the present.

If the rumor materializes, it would be interesting to study Retail consumption of a slab with 4 times more pixels than a Full HD screen. Samsung has managed to make huge progress with its qHD slabs that consume roughly the same energy as Full HD slabs despite a number of pixels multiplied by 1.77. But will it be successful in achieving the feat for UHD slabs?
