If Lenovo is a well known manufacturer in the world of laptops, the brand is much less present in the world of smartphones. Yet, we had hands the K3 Note , which wants an affordable model in the 5.5-inch category. Focus on a very interesting device.
The Lenovo K3 Note smartphone is a 5.5 ” with a beautiful screen with a full HD 1080p resolution 1920 × 1080. Equipped with a 64-bit CPU Octo-Core MT6752, the device is supported by a Mali-T760 GPU MP2. Memory side, the K3 Note is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. A micro SD card slot inside the phone allows for him to expand the memory up to 64GB.
Finally, the smartphone has a rear camera autofocus accompanied by 13MPX, which rarely enough to be emphasized, a double LED flash powerful (it realizes when operating in flashlight ). The front camera, meanwhile, offers a resolution of 5MPX. As for the battery, device dimensions allow him a capacity of 3000mAh which offers autonomy in theoretical conversation 36 hours according to the manufacturer. In practice, the device is largely due more than one day, which is already very significant.
Let us now to the overall performance of the device. All components fitted to the machine provides a bad score of 46266 points below Antutu:
The Lenovo K3 remains fluid and Rating performance in any situation.
network connectivity side, the WiFi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0 (A2DP and LE) and GPS are waiting for you. The device is of course 4G but we regret the absence of the 800MHZ band to be fully compatible 4G in France (especially for SFR customers). Also note the presence of a handy notification LED on the front panel that will notify you of a missed call or text message.
If the general design K50a40 remains more traditional, its look is nice and elegant. Only two buttons are present on the right side of the device: a button Power and a double volume button:
The back of the camera, all-plastic, gives a feeling a little “cheap”. Nevertheless, its white color with light pearly sheen is the most beautiful effect.
Finally, the dimensions are 15.26 x 7.6 x 0.8 cm and weighs 145g on our scales.
operating system side, the Lenovo Note K3 is equipped with Android 5.0 native Lollipop. If this seems good news in itself, we regret that, on the model, which has survived, Android comes with an overlay (Lenovo Vibe 2.5) can not be deleted. One is left with a device offering several types of applications Bloatware which we could have done. Moreover, it is impossible to update the device via the interface (OTA update). What a shame for such a promising device! Fortunately, it is still possible to install an international official ROM (see tutorial here) or a custom ROM. Once this is done, then we have here an enjoyable and powerful device for an extremely competitive price as our model, available from everbuying.net, is proposed within 135 €! ! A real pleasure
