The music school was opened in mid-September and currently has fifty students.
Five teachers share classes .
Christophe Bouhier teaches music appreciation, music education and piano; Franck Barthe Segonzac, battery, and drives the percussion workshop (Batucada); Jean François Bergan guitar; Jean Claude Prunet, saxophone and clarinet. The music school welcomes a new teacher this year in the person of Quentin Lourties that provides musical training courses and trumpet.
This year the various stakeholders continue to offer young musicians confirmed a day workshop every school holidays to work pieces together and develop the pleasure of playing together.
A hearing will be held in December where the public can come and listen to the work done during the first quarter.
Finally, we can not ignore the flagship festival “Music in Lyre”, which every year is a great success and will be held Saturday, June 18 2016.Si you want to integrate school music or percussion workshop, there are a few slots.
