While the film Death Note which found an actress to Misa there are already a few months is a bit forgotten, Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba are back on top form and the editorial ‘of MCM.fr is obviously super happy to find the duo. After Death Note and Bakuman , the two artists are income for a few weeks in the pages of Shonen Weekly Jump with Platinum End , and a few chapters we already see that the manga is very good. On find a lot of themes that were addressed in Death Note and we necessarily want to compare all the time both works, but Platinum End is both so different including its main character. Of course, there is the perfect drawing of Obata and Ohba captivating scenario and linger above would be almost useless.
It follows therefore Mirai, a schoolboy who wants only one thing: to die and be released from his sad life. He is saved by Nasse, an angel who gave him powers basically making him a God on Earth , able to fly, control people and kill them. Inevitably with a synopsis like this, we say that this is Death Note, except that replaces the gods of death by angels, but the big difference is Mirai. If Light was a guy too smart, cool , calculating and ruthless, Mirai is full of good feelings , torn by the impact and consequences of the use of his powers. In addition to all these hesitations, Mirai has no ambition to become God through his powers , unlike Light, making a basically good person. And it’s a shame for him because 13 other humans were given divine powers and God become one and inevitably, they do not all have the same nobility Mirai. To read this little wonder is the Platinum End Kazé site that publishes chapters simultaneously with Japan and Volume 1 released May 25
