Death Note: the film adaptation of the manga will be violent – Like In Movies

Here’s some news that should reassure fans of the manga Death Note of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata published between 2003 and 2006 and became an animated series of 37 episodes produced by Tetsuro Araki.

The film adaptation produced by Adam Wingard ( You’Re Next , The Guest ) should respect the tone very dark and violent books as well as the elements fantastic.

the film’s producer, Roy Lee, met with the magazine Collider to discuss the project.

“Adam Wingard awaits the green light to start production. We already have our casting. We should do the film this year. “

As for the audience of this adaptation, Roy Lee did not pull any punches in stating that the film was intended for adults and would be R-Rated States STATES (forbidden to minors under 17 unaccompanied by an adult Ed.)
