Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, a fingerprint reader and more endurance – DigitalVersus

While Redmi Note 2 was announced a few months, Xiaomi has just lifted the veil on his successor. An update that brings including a fingerprint reader and a battery of 4000 mAh, for still lower prices. The Chinese also took the opportunity to launch his Mi Pad 2.
We published last week testing the Redmi Note 2 Xiaomi. A smartphone that made us very good impression which its manufacturer claims to have sold no less than 6 million units in 100 days. One would have thought that Xiaomi then let him continue his journey, but it was decided otherwise. The Redmi Note 2 gives way to Redmi Note 3 evolves very little in passing, but keeps the same leitmotif: to propose ever more for the lowest possible price

Thus, there is a IPS Full HD (1920. px x 1080) of 5.5 inches (13.97 cm) and a metal shell in one piece. The Note 3 is powered by a SoC also MediaTek Helio X10 8-core ARM Cortex A53, clocked at 2.2 GHz and a graphics chip PowerVR G6200. Two versions are available: the first combines 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, the second from 3 GB of RAM for the double storage. Photo sensors 13 and 5MP are renewed, respectively at the rear and at the front, the first adorning a phase detect autofocus. The Redmi Note 3 is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop over which Xiaomi MIUI adds his overcoat 7. The autonomy was one of the few weaknesses of Note 2. To counter this, his successor adopts a battery of 4000 mAh , nearly 30% more. A fingerprint reader is emerging on the back of the device, as with photo optics.

The 16GB version of Redmi Note 3 sees its price set at 899 yuan (about € 132) and the 32GB model 1099 yuan (about € 162). Prices should rise slightly in our region, forcing import.

Other product announced by Xiaomi, a touch pad, the second Chinese, called Mi Pad 2. It is a slate of 7 , 9 “(20.07 cm) IPS display 2048 x 1536 px for a resolution of 326 dpi. This is a SoC Intel Atom Z8500-X5 to 4 cores running at 1.44 GHz officiating. It is supported by an Intel HD Graphics chip and 2GB of RAM. The Mi Pad 2 will be available in 16 and 64 GB of internal memory. Two sensors 8 and 5 Megapixels ensure taking photos in the back and front, and a battery of 6190 mAh is responsible to feed the whole.

It will cost 999 yuan (about € 147) for the 16GB version and 1,299 yuan (€ 191) for the 32GB. Again, it will certainly add a few euros to the invoice for a purchase in France.
