The EU took note of Anticompetitive Practices … – Nextgen-Auto.com

The European Union seemed poised to challenge the unequal distribution of € 714 million commercial revenue between big teams and small, but this seems to be valid …

A commission of inquiry of the European Commission had asked the small stables Force India, Lotus, Sauber and Marussia to present their arguments against the current distribution that favors very clearly the big Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren and Williams.

The Times of London says in his column that Krzysztof Kuik, head of anti-competitive practices in the sports world, talked to different teams and experts.

It is the European Anneliese Dodds MP who had attracted EU attention to this problem and Krzysztof Kuik finally wrote him a letter for him that he had received the report, but without promising him that he would launch any investigation.

“We are aware of the recent allegations concerning the governance of Formula One, as described in your letter and recent press articles. I appreciate the fact that you have provided information on these issues and have taken note of your concern, “ wrote Krzysztof Kuik.

Anneliese Dodds does not admit defeat and states that it will now interpeler Margrethe Vestager, the European Commissioner for Competition, with more specific requests.
