Galaxy Note LTE 4-A: download 300 MB per second – Android-MT

Samsung has officially announced a variant of its premium Phablet, the Galaxy Note 4. The novelty is compatibility with 4G “Advanced” (or 4G LTE-A) Category 6, four times faster on paper than the current 4G.

In fact, this amounts to “download a 700 MB video at 19 seconds, and 10 songs from a total of 40 MB to about one second , “proclaims the press release. Of course, there is a maximum theoretical throughput, which will rarely (if not ever) reached, although on average, the 4G LTE-A will actually be faster than its big sister.

To achieve this, the new Galaxy Note LTE 4-A uses technology “triple bandwidth aggregation.” Clearly, the Phablet will receive three different frequency bandwidth to merge them into a single, optimized to provide the best mobile Internet speed possible.

In addition to compatibility with 4G LTE-A Class 6, the new version of the Phablet made in Samsung is identical to its predecessor. But curious detail, the data sheet at the end of this press release makes no mention of the embedded processor. Could this be the famous Galaxy Note 4 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 we hear about a few weeks ago? Facing the Snapdragon 805 of Note 4 first name, the difference would be minimal with use, but a more powerful processor is always welcome.

No release date is mentioned, nor that Price or countries in which the Note 4 LTE-A is available. The latest information relayed by SamMobile indicate that only South Korea would be provided in January, and the Phablet not be outside the country’s borders. A device of this kind could have pushed our operators to provide adequate 4G damage.
