The Note 7 banned in airplanes – The Parisian

measuring is extremely rare. International aviation has been prohibited in the hold as in the cabin, the Samsung Note 7. The phone is considered a dangerous product in the same way as a camping stove, a lighter, or flammable liquids, firecrackers, fireworks. It must be said that on 5 October, a few days before the leadership of the Korean group decides to stop the production of its smartphone, one of its phones caught fire in a plane of Southwest Airlines. A chance, the incident occurred when the device, providing a flight between Louisville (Kentucky), and Baltimore (Maryland), was travelling on the tarmac. None of the 70 passengers had been injured. The owner of the phone explained that its Note 7 had started smoking when he came off. This prohibition, taken in mid-October by the american equivalent of the Directorate-general of the French civil aviation (DGAC), has been extended to most of the country. Since that date, Air France makes regular audio messages, including i n the airports of Roissy (Val-d’oise) and paris Orly (Val-de-Marne) to prevent its passengers. In the United States, the non-compliance of this prohibition may result in a fine of more than 165 000 EUR and up to ten years in prison.
