Moody’s considers the rating of LafargeHolcim to demotion

Frankfurt (awp) – The rating agency Moody’s has placed all ratings of the cement LafargeHolcim review for possible downgrade. This decision was taken after the investor day last Friday with the announcement of an increase in the pay-out ratio and a share buyback program, the agency said Monday evening. This promise had already been made in his time, and is therefore already taken into account in the current note.

The experts also want to discuss the purpose of operating EBITDA adjusted to 7 in CHF bn by 2018 at the level of the effects on the situation of rating. This objective has been planed to a CHF bn by LafargeHolcim.

Currently, the rating of the cement franco-swiss is “Baa2″. The key figures for 2015 pro-forma disclosures are improved, but they remain low. The review notes will focus on the perspectives in the short and medium term. In the case of a demotion, this will be a step up.
