The m5 notes will, therefore, be official in a few days, but it has already been fully revealed by Tenaa, the certification body of China. His time at Tenaa has generated a full spec sheet which we learn that the m5 notes will be very close to its predecessor, the m3 rating. It will resume the platform (Helio P10 MediaTek), the screen (5.5-inch Full HD) and photographic equipment (sensor 13 megapixel rear and 5-megapixel on the front). The connectivities are identical, and the fingerprint reader will return (to judge from the photos). As a reminder, in addition to the screen size and the lack of a fingerprint reader, these details correspond also to the m5. A little recycling at Meizu ?
A third storage option
Then what will change ? First, the m5 note offer not two, but three storage options. The first two are those of the m5 and the m3 note : 2 Gb of RAM and 16 GB of storage on one side, 3 Gb of RAM and 32 Gb of storage on the other. The latter enhances these two parameters : 4 Gb of RAM and 64 Gb of storage. The battery, meanwhile, will be revised slightly downwards (4000 mAh, compared with 4100 mAh battery earlier). The dimensions, finally, are almost identical, but the m5 notes will be overweight : 8 grams more. The frame should be metal.
