Xiaomi Mi Pro Note: the Snapdragon overheating problems … – Phonandroid

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is the second smartphone announced with a Snapdragon processor 810. What generate some concerns experiencing overheating problems encountered on some of the terminals that are equipped and resulting impacts on its performance. Yet it would seem that China is the only device PHABLET not suffer.

As incredible as it may seem, Xiaomi has managed to overcome the overheating problems of Snapdragon 810 with a new cooling technology employed on his last PHABLET. A beautiful feat given that the machine only shows 6.95 mm thick. Here is what the Chinese automaker said about it:

To solve the overheating problems of Snapdragon 810, our engineers have optimized the phone structure to dissipate heat more evenly. The CPU of the thermal conductivity has been optimized and four graphite cooling fins including a double layer have been inserted inside. After 20 minutes, the temperature in the rear is 36.3 ℃. It is therefore smaller than the human body. Xiaomi asked five thermal conductivity patents.

Thanks to the advancements made on the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro not only Snapdragon 810 retains a reasonable temperature but, cherry on the cake, its performance is not affected. The PHABLET and manages to reach a score of 63,424 points AnTuTu , exceeding the HTC One M9 and the LG G Flex 2, yet equipped with the same Soc.

PHABLET shows better results than competing smartphones equipped with the same Soc on all the benchmark tools , starting with Geekbench point where she graduated 4086 against 3604 for the LG G Flex 2, with 3D Mark 25 503 points 75 757 points CFBench and Vellamo with 2298 points. Overall, scores of the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro are still below those of the Galaxy S6 (68 of 896 points and 4916 points AnTuTu Geekbench) but Soc Qualcomm nevertheless takes a nice edge over the competition.
