For three days, the sports hall vibrated to the rhythm of the first edition of Ox’hip-hop festival dedicated to urban culture: hip hop dance, open mic, rap concert, exhibitions and performances, graffiti, football freestyle … This cultural event shows that rural areas, for their quality of life and dynamism of their inhabitants, deserve to have some attention. In this sense the Ch’mins cross, developed by the Department allow to take alternate routes to see the world differently.
The County Council had thus asked the company to concoct The Swerve a rich program of artistic projects. Thursday night, the audience attended a concert of voices Workshop, followed by the rap group The Junction, which offers committed rap combining outstanding flow and words without concessions.
Friday then, more than 600 people attended demonstrations Cadanse, club Zumba and hip-hop dance groups. They demonstrated all forms of dialogue of the body, all the techniques of this dance. Saturday last, the audience was captivated by the demonstration of the world champion freestyle hip-hop dance workshop and open mic.
This first festival, it is clear, won a huge success and who knows, maybe a new edition she will profile the coming years.
