UNUSUAL – A US officer was particularly generous when a store was reported to have been a victim of shoplifting. Instead of arresting the person, he simply set itself the note.

The stolen goods were actually a cake mix and frosting can and the culprit was a mother who wanted to prepare a birthday cake for her daughter but does not have the means to pay.

Not wanting to spoil the children’s festival, the officer decided to go to the store for pay. Touched by his approach, one of the vendors due teaches contacted local media to tell the story.

Michael Kotsonis, police Portsmouth in New Hampshire, declined to comment explaining not having done so to draw attention. Without excusing the approach of the mother, he felt that the child did not have to suffer the consequences of his behavior.

“That’s the Portsmouth police! Thanks Kotsonis the officer to have made more pleasant a time that had to be difficult for this woman. We could not be more proud of what you do for our community !! “said the city police on his Facebook page (see above)
