Beyond the regulatory 18 months

If this is true, this decision would be surprising, since in this case Samsung would exceed the statutory 18 months to complete the update. But let’s face it would be a nice gesture by the South Korean manufacturer, which seems decidedly determined to keep its users as to deploy updates on smartphones that are not even on sale in the market.

An update already announced by Samsung Finland

An interesting information even if an index had already put us a flea in the ear in December: indeed The Finnish branch of Samsung already stated at the time that the Galaxy Note 2 would benefit from Lollipop.

These two statements from various entities of the brand, can leave us think that this update will take place. However, no deployment date has yet been provided, and this update may soon deploy. It will indeed expect that Android 5.0 Lollipop is available on the newer models (such as the Galaxy Note 4, which is still under version Android 4.4 KitKat) before seeing it happen on the Galaxy Note 2.
