Members of the XDA-developers forum have managed to get their hands on Lollipop in a ROM, but official beta, the Galaxy Note Edge .
Samsung is not the most urgent manufacturer when it comes to getting its high-end smartphones to Lollipop. If the Galaxy S5 has enjoyed a recent update, we still do not know what happens to the passage Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 4 and even less for the Galaxy Note Edge. For the latter the owners, in a ROM Lollipop has just been put online by users of the XDA-developers forum . This is an official ROM, developed by Samsung so that installs Lollipop on the curved screen smartphone. This ROM is however a beta version – not final so – and may have some bugs
As usual, the installation of such a ROM requires knowledge well. the intricacies of the phone flash. The simplest is to consult the forum topic XDA-developers (in English). It specifies that this ROM is intended for Galaxy Note Edge SM-N915FY and SM-N915F only and that once the ROM installed, it is necessary to download an application to set the minimum CPU frequency.
