Test: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – Le Journal du Geek

Remember, in 2011, Samsung took advantage of IFA 2011 to announce the first Galaxy Note with a screen of 5.3 “. Much shouting limit the scandal because no one will use a smartphone with such a screen size. We are in 2014 and we have never had so many smartphones with a screen between 5 “and 6″.

In this category, the range Galaxy Note Samsung is still a reference. In addition, version 2014, the 4th, welcomes new inspired by the Alpha Galaxy announced this summer and this design for our delight. The era of all plastic is gone, the Korean brand has finally understood that high-end premium finish also meant more premium features. And that’s a minimum given the competition that is coming on strong in this segment. With its S Pen, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be hard to do but it is in these moments of stress that Samsung has done there best.

Note that Samsung had said during his announcement in early September that the Galaxy Note 4 sold in our region will be the version with the house octo-core Exynos processor 5433. Finally, and this is not so bad, the version we have in our hands for testing is none other than the version with 805 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. Note also that Note 4 does offer you more USB 3.0 but USB 2.0. It’s a shame but I confess that with the Note 3, I did not use very rarely the USB 3.0 cable. In addition, the Galaxy Note features a 4 Micro-SIM port, not nano-SIM as it starts to be the case lately.

Side packaging, you can well imagine that the Korean brand will not revolutionize the genre. We thus find the recyclable cardboard box and not surprisingly, we find the micro-USB cable eternal, USB charger, headphones / hands-free kits with a flat cable, exchange mine for the S Pen and notices of use for a first grip. So nothing original.

For its price, count officially € 749 without plan.
