Fitch confirmed the rating of Greece – Le Figaro

The Fitch rating agency maintained Friday the debt rating of Greece to “CCC”, recognizing that progress has been made by the country, but risks still remain. Rated “CCC” is attributed to poor quality issuers with a real risk of default.

The agency says that the country has made “substantial progress” to achieve the goals that were set for it its international creditors. Nevertheless risk factors remain, particularly around the impact that the crisis of migrants could have on the country and the uncertainties surrounding some of the reforms, says Fitch.

On Wednesday, the quartet representing the creditors of Greece in Athens began its negotiations with the government to finalize their audit in April prescribed reforms, a condition of continuing to help the country and discuss a debt relief.
