The curious memorandum of Nice taxes to discourage … – Nice-Matin

According to France Bleu Azur, an internal note of the Departmental Directorate of Public Finance Alpes-Maritimes encourages agents not to simplify the procedures of users at the counter. The goal? Push them to online services.

The document was sent by email on September 28 last to all department heads in personal taxes of the department. This note would detail five measures to be applied to discourage taxpayers to come to the desk

France Bleu Azur has obtained the document and cites some examples:

– “. greatly limit the direct processing of litigation “that takes the user” consciousness that its application is not faster when it moves (instead)

– “ prevent the facilitation of issuance of paper documents without waiting

According to France Bleu Azur, which cites the words of a tax agent, this new direction is a first step towards “ 40% removal of host agents, to save money at the expense Public Service “.

When contacted by radio, the Departmental Directorate of public finances would not wish to comment.
