Nat Wolff (Our Stars) will play the hero of this adaptation of the manga and cult black Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.
Netflix launches the film adaptation of manga Death Note, in which Nat Wolff (Our Stars), embodies the main character, Light Yagami. Filming began yesterday and will take place in the United States and Canada, under the direction of Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest).
Death Note is the adaptation of the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, which tells the story of a high school student (Wolff), which falls on a supernatural book, which contains great power; if we registered the name of someone whose face is known, that person dies. But soon, the young man is overwhelmed by this power and begins killing those he deems unworthy of life.
This very dark manga knows where his first American adaptation, has already subject to anime, several animated films in Japan, as well as several feature films “live”. One of them focused on the detective L, investigator and formidable strategist, who will be played by Keith Stanfield in the US version.
