Three months after China, redmi Note 3 landed in India. A delay due to the Made in India’s political course, but also good as the smartphone is a little better equipped than the one sold in China.
Xiaomi moved to India last year but no question of importing his creations. All smartphones it sells are manufactured locally. This is obviously one of the reasons the décallages with China, sytématiquement served first. But wait sometimes good. This is the case for redmi Note 3. Launched in November in the Middle Kingdom, it happens in India today with a few surprises.
Snapdragon 650 and 16 megapixel camera
They are two in number. The first is that the Helio X10 was replaced by the 650 Snapdragon from Qualcomm. The second has two cores less than the first level CPU but catches up with a more solid architecture (two Cortex-A72) and Adreno 510 for graphics. Second change. Camera from 13 to 16 megapixels and earns a bonus, a phase detection autofocus
The rest is preserved, but it is not bad as it includes a full HD 5.5-inch, 2 or 3GB of RAM combined with 16 or 32GB of storage, a 5 megapixel webcam, a fingerprint reader and a battery of 4050 mAh. All this, taken in a metal frame and animated by MIUI 7 with Android 5.1 Lollipop to stand.
The more pampered Indians than the Chinese? Not necessarily …
redmi Note 3 therefore appears to be a better deal in India than it is in China. At least that’s what one might think at first. The reality is somewhat different. Both improvements mentioned above are also available in China, but with a different model: the redmi Note 3 Pro. The pricing is also similar: around € 150 for the 16GB version and € 180 for double
The Indians have therefore not truly entitled to preferential treatment but Xiaomi their savings. least the intermediate stage of redmi Chinese Note 3 which is simply a redmi Note 2.5, and that’s a good thing.
