IFA 2016: Lenovo launches its smartphones K6, K6 and K6 Power Rating – DigitalVersus

In parallel to its Z Play Moto and its camera module, Lenovo took the IFA to refresh its entry / mid-range with 3 new smartphones, K6, K6 and K6 Power Rating. All three enjoy a Full HD screen and a fingerprint reader.
Lenovo K6 is, logically enough, the replacement of the K5. It remains on the basis of a 5-inch screen with IPS panel, but goes Full HD (1920 x 1080 px on a diagonal of 12.7 cm). It could be one of the cheapest smartphones to provide such a definition, as long as the Chinese manufacturer gives it a price equivalent to that of its predecessor (169 €). The Belly of the Beast does not have enough to make a racing machine with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 430, 8-core ARM Cortex-A53 (4 x 4 x 1.5 and 1.2 GHz), an Adreno iGPU 505 and 2 GB of RAM to accompany it. This type of configuration has already proved in the past that continues fluidity was not impossible to obtain. Especially as during our grip, the K6 has been quite convincing in the field.
For the photo, there is a usual 13 MP sensor at the back and a second least common 8MP front. During our meeting with the K6, the cameraphone party has not seemed to be a real strong point for this one. Noise, slow and high latency of the display have been tested. It can be assumed that this is where a software problem, potentially correctable before the arrival on the market. To power all, Lenovo pare its K6 a battery of 3000 mAh, while the storage point for his part in 16GB, expandable by microSD.
If, again, the K6 walking in the footsteps of K5 in price, the presence of a fingerprint reader on the back could give him an advantage. This kind of device still arriving only rarely to below 200 euros. For the rest, it’s classic, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and 4G LTE (Cat. 4). Android 6.0 Marshmallow undertakes for its part to animate this little world.
The unit enjoys a rather successful metal shell and not unpleasant in hand. Above all, it puts a cap in series with the previous model, dressed in plastic.

The K6 Power is, as its name might suggest, a version of the K6 that emphasizes autonomy . Indeed, there is only difference with the smartphone described above a battery of 4000 mAh. Note all well as a power K6 version was presented in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

K6 Note differs a little of his two brothers, offering a screen of 5.5 inches (diagonal 14 cm), always IPS Full HD. Only available in 32 GB internal memory, it sees its RAM climb to 3 or 4GB. He too enjoys a 4000 mAh battery. In the photo, the K6 Note features a 16MP sensor back and enjoys a setting in phase detection point.
For now, Lenovo has not communicated precisely on the date of launch of the K6, but it could be in the month of September without giving a concrete launch window for France. The price of each variation also remains a big unknown at present.
