The submission of the next Galaxy Note is expected to arrive in the coming months, most likely on the occasion of the IFA. After a leak (possible) design last week, today is a patent filed by Samsung that appears on the canvas. It would be possible to write to a PDF from its Galaxy Note 5.

The big plus of the series of Galaxy is his famous “S Pen” stylus that allows it to access a string of functionality and increase productivity. It is already possible to write on the fly on an image, but this does not write directly on a PDF. Rather make a screenshot, then write his notes on the copy, which is a waste of time for the impatient.
Samsung decided to resolve the issue. The manufacturer would have filed a patent Tuesday, June 30 at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The name of the patent, “Write On PDF” (write to a PDF) is more explicit. According to his description, this new feature is “software for smartphones, mobile phones, tablet computers allowing users to annotate and save PDF documents and images” .
We know nothing more about this innovation possible. We’ll see if it will be possible to write directly to the original file, or if annotations will be stored on a copy of the document. As usual with patents, it is unclear whether he will be truly integrated in a future product. We will be set at least at the presentation in November of the future phablettes or Korean.
