During his presentation at IFA in September, the Samsung Galaxy Gear critics had focused on its lack of compatibility with all smartphones and tablets from the Korean manufacturer. Until now, the watch could be connected only to Galaxy Note 3 and Note 10.1.

At the beginning, Lee Young-hee, vice president of marketing for the mobile division Samsung announced in the press that the Korean Galaxy Gear extend its compatibility with other products of the brand. And he will not have to wait long for that to be the case. Indeed, it is the 4.3 version of Android for Samsung now brings this compatibility Galaxy S4. S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 will benefit in the process.

For the rest of the range, this version of the mobile operating system from Google will be distributed by the manufacturer from mid-November.
