The end of the tunnel for Samsung ? Having identified over a hundred cases of explosion of batteries in the Note 7 in the world, the manufacturer has decided to stop worldwide shipments of its last terminal, and in particular in France, even before its release in early September.
at the same time, the world number one began its exchange program for those who had obtained the terminal in preorder. Initially, Samsung had relied on an exchange period long enough and did not provide for a return in the shops in europe before the end of November. “We hope that the Galaxy Note 7 will be available around the end of November, well before the end of the year,” said David Lowes, head of marketing at Samsung Europe Reuters.
But things happen faster than expected. In a press release, Samsung says that during the first week of the replacement program in Europe, 57% of the Galaxy Note 7 europeans have been replaced. And since the 19 September, 90% of owners have opted for replacement of their smartphone and 3% preferred a different terminal Samsung Galaxy. The builder would, therefore, have lost that little bit of customers.
in The end, the phablet will make its grand return in shops on the 28th of October, unless a deferment at the last minute.
