Recently, the General Assembly of the choir stood at the village hall. Claude Balario, President, opened the meeting by warm thanks to Michel Pertile, the choir director, pianist Nicky Griffith-Jones and, of course, the chorus, not to mention the work behind the scenes as the team ‘range “ensuring logistics.
The year 2015 was intense with 4 traditional Masses, four concerts including one in favor of a charity and a wedding mass. On 31 December, the association has a credit balance and finance that are more healthy, a sign of good management. Ms Ribes stressed the family dimension of the group where there is a good atmosphere and the 40th anniversary of the choir in October. The provisional timetable is for the time of two concerts in Caussens and the traditional “Poule au pot” on 6 March in the hall where everybody is welcome.
All are thought to some families of the choir who have been cruelly affected in recent months and wish a speedy recovery to the suffering with a special thought for Guy and Gisele.
The last word came back to choir director Michel Pertile who warmly thank the singers for their involvement, their attendance and desire to do well, a desire felt by the public during services. A snack and followed the raffle which made happy.
